Of course it’s built independent from R34, a new car from scratch, but it’s a Skyline man…

When are people gonna realize its NOT A FRIGGIN SKYLINE???? It’s been built completely independent from the skylines - not even Nissan call it a bloody skyline. Get a clue!

@fjaff Highly doubt your a car engineer. He just doesn’t have the money he has the knowledge about all his cars.
I wouldn’t expect him to know alot about nissan either, he has so many other cars to know about.
The man does know his cars though.

well i have no doubt of japanese cars reliability. in fact jap cars are known to be even more reliable than euro cars.
but my point to you is. how you mention how expensive a gearbox would be on R35.. well with the cars i mentioned. i guarrantee those would be much more expensive and make the GTR itself and its parts look like a bargain
u know yourself gtr’s transmission and clutch system and how reliable it is..
and you think if something “broke” in the BMW m3 or m5 or an audi R8 or lamborghini gallardo… or a porsche 911 turbo?!?!?!?!?!?
