Starion - 3000GT - Eclipse - Lancer Evolution - FTO

Mitsubishi has been making sports cars of all different levels of performance for over 40 years.

Mitsubishi is responsible for creating one of the first “modern day” RWD Turbocharged sports coupe, the Mitsubishi Starion. The Starion was also badged as a Dodge/Chrysler Conquest. The Starion was later replaced with the Eclipse, which offered a AWD turbocharged option. But it was the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, a AWD Turbocharged rally inspired sedan which got Mitsubishi noticed. Mitsubishi also has a larger sedan, the Mitsubishi Galant. The Galant has been available as a AWD turbo VR-4 edition and most recent a Ralliart edition has been added. None of these cars are as Exotic as the Mitsubishi GTO, or 3000GT in the US. The 3000GT came in a FWD NA v6 model or a AWD Twin Turbo v6 VR-4 edition. The 3000GT was aimed to compete with the Supra, Skyline, 300ZX and RX-7.
